What is DMOL
DMOL, Digital television Multiplex Operators Limited, is a company owned by the operators of the six digital terrestrial television (DTT) multiplexes.
It is a business to business organisation and its purpose is to provide technical platform management for the DTT platform.
DMOL sets and administers policy for the platform. It does this with a small executive staff which is supported by representatives from its member organisations.
DMOL is currently supporting the UK digital switchover project.
However, as DMOL is not set up as a public facing organisation, it is not equipped to answer questions from the public directly; these should be made to the Digital UK helpline at 0845 650 50 50.
